Removal of solid from drilling muds is carried out by using the equipment described herebelow:

Shale shaker

Junior shale shaker
Perfect for any small drilling operation.
Constructed on a skid, each unit is equipped with explosion proof 3 HP (50 or 60 cycle 4 phase) and starter, powering the high performance vibrating assembly.
It carries from 12 to 30 mesh screens.
Maximum capacity: 1500 lit/min.

Desander - Desilter

HYDROCYCLONE DESANDER

ø12" hydrocyclone Desander

The hydrociclone desander is designed to remove large volumes of sand sized 250 - 74 microns of drill solids from drilling mud.
The principles according to which the desander works are illustrated in figure.

4" CONE DESILTER

Desilters are designed for an accurate removal of silt sized (20 - 74 microns) drill solid

Desilters have several cones (4" hydrocyclones) connected to the mud inlet connection tangentially.
According to the same principle illustrated for the Desander, sand and silt are separated from the mud and discarted.

MINI DESANDER/DESILTER

The mini Desander is a single 5" hydrocyclone Desander/Desilter designed to remove drilled solids from a low-volume drilling fluid system. This Desander/Desilter is ideally suited for use in water well and minerals exploration drilling

• Hydrocyclone 5"
• Victaulic clamp 2" style 78
• Elbow 2 inch
• Gauge, 100 psi, 4", 1/2" bottom mount s.s.
• Snubber, 1/2"

Mud hopper - Mud mixer

MUD HOPPER - Mud mixer

A complete assembly, easy and efficient, that allows a perfect preparation of mud with polymers or bentonite. The products to mix are intaken, into the hopper, by the vacuum effect created by a Venturi element in the downstream line. Turbolence provides a rapid and uniform dispersion.
It is advisable to circulate with pump for a few minutes in order to stabilize mud concentration.
The mud hopper is mounted on a sturdy skid to allow for easy transportation and rig installation
